Who we are
Offline Forms is a product by Apogi, registered in The Netherlands (KVK 91873290). When we say "we" in this policy, we mean Apogi. Apogi is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
For questions about your privacy or this policy: [email protected]. Apogi is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under GDPR. Privacy questions go directly to us at the address above.
What we collect on this website
Early access signup
When you sign up for early access, we collect your name, email address, and some information about how you plan to use Offline Forms. This data is processed by Kit.com, the service that handles our signup forms and email updates. Kit.com has its own privacy policy. We use this information to send you product updates and to understand what our early users need. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the signup form.
Website analytics
We use GoatCounter for website analytics. GoatCounter is privacy-friendly by design. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not collect personal data. What it does collect are aggregated statistics: page views, referral sources, screen sizes, browser languages, and country-level location. None of this is tied to you as an individual. GoatCounter data is hosted at Hetzner in Finland and Germany.
We chose GoatCounter specifically because it lets us understand how people use this website without tracking anyone. Because GoatCounter collects no personal data, no consent is required for its use.
What the app collects
Offline Forms is currently in development. When the app launches, this is how it will handle your data.
Your form data
This is the most important part. There is no Offline Forms server sitting between you and your data. When you fill out a form in the app, that data is stored encrypted on your device. When you sync, it goes directly back to your own forms via SSL. We never see it, never store it, never have access to it.
Your form submissions are yours. We are not in the middle.
Data on your device
Form data is encrypted at rest on your device. The app stores your forms and any entries you haven't synced yet. All of this stays on your device until you choose to sync, at which point it goes straight to your forms.
Third parties
We do not sell your data. Not now, not ever.
The third-party services we use:
- Kit.com processes early access signups and sends email updates.
- GoatCounter provides cookie-free, privacy-friendly website analytics.
That's the full list.
Your rights under GDPR
You're in control of your data. Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
-
Access the personal data we hold about you.
-
Correct inaccurate data.
-
Delete your data. If you want off the early access list, let us know and we'll remove you.
-
Export your data in a portable format.
-
Object to how we process your data.
-
Withdraw consent at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
-
Complain to a supervisory authority. In The Netherlands, that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We don't use cookies for tracking. GoatCounter is entirely cookie-free. The only cookies on this site, if any, are strictly functional (like remembering a form submission). No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your early access signup data for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is removed from Kit.com. GoatCounter analytics are aggregated and not tied to individuals, so there's nothing personal to retain or delete.
Security incidents
We deliberately collect as little personal data as possible. Your name and email for updates; that's it. You can't leak what you don't have, and we'd rather not have it in the first place.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens within 72 hours as required by GDPR. If the breach poses a high risk to your rights, we will notify you directly without undue delay.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here. For significant changes, we'll notify early access subscribers by email.
